Wildlife
Nature is all around us in this magical part of the Scottish Highlands.
The Highlands of Scotland are home to a staggering variety of flora, fauna and wildlife.
The 19 Glorious Gardens of Argyll are an outstanding collection of gardens. Here you will find plants from around the world in varied settings from houses to woods and even castles!
Familes love the Rare Breeds Park just outside Oban. This collection of animals housed in hill-side pens has delighted visitors for years.
The waters around Oban are home to whales, dolphins and porpoises and there are many sealife cruises on offer. Otters and seals can often be spotted too.
The Island of Mull is an excellent place to observe the wonderful wildlife in its natural environment as the island is home to red deer, eagles, buzzards, seals, otters, dolphins and much much more. Mull also supports a varied range of birdlife and visitors can encounter Corncrakes, White Tailed Eagles, Osprey, Guillemot and Puffins. Why not join in on one of the wildlife safaris or walks and see them for yourself.
